Tassie Dreadlocks is where my journey as an identity artist began.

What started as a small craft built through patience, curiosity, and a lot of hands-on learning has grown into a fully booked dreadlock practice trusted by clients across Tasmania.

Over the years I’ve created more than 650 handmade dreadlock extensions, installed 100+ full heads of dreadlocks, and spent thousands of hours working with dreadlocks of every texture, length, and stage of the journey.

But numbers only tell part of the story.

Dreadlocks are rarely just about hair.

For many people they mark a turning point.
A reclaiming of identity.
A decision to stop shrinking and start showing up as who they really are.

People sit in this chair after breakups, personal reinventions, big life shifts, or simply because they’re ready to see themselves differently.

My job is to honour that moment.

Every set of dreadlocks is created using a gentle crochet method that prioritises scalp health, longevity, and natural movement.

Intentional Cosmetics is the newest expression of my work as an identity artist.

While dreadlocks have long been my craft, cosmetic tattooing allows me to work with another powerful part of personal identity. The face. The features people see every day in the mirror.

Brows. Eyes. Lips.

Small details that can completely shift how someone sees themselves.

Intentional Cosmetics focuses on natural, balanced results that enhance what is already there rather than replacing it. The goal is never to change someone’s face. It’s to bring harmony and confidence to the features they already have.

This work is built on careful study, strong foundations, and a commitment to doing things properly. Every technique begins with the essentials: skin knowledge, hygiene, infection control, and precision.

Because cosmetic tattooing isn’t just beauty work.
